Square-Enix’s Play Arts Variant line of Star Wars figures just keeps getting better and better! I loved the Variant Darth Vader but check out their new gritty renditions of Boba Fett and the Imperial Stormtrooper:
Bounty Hunter Boba Fett seems to be more muscular and badass than he usually is (a little bit of Batman in there, perhaps) and the Stormtrooper looks like an elite Shock Trooper from Mass Effect, not plastic-ky white costumed soldiers who can’t hit the broad side of a barn. All good things, really.
