PLDT Sucks: 5k for a Downgrade?

I just called up PLDT 171 to request a downgrade of my 3 year old DSL Professional line, after 5mins of “checking” my account status, the girl over the phone tells me i need to pay PLDT 5,000 pesos to have the line downgraded. Waw. Kapal muks naman. Mukhang pera naman talaga…..When i asked when the supposedly 2mbps “upgrade” e selected areas pa lang daw ung pag roll out ng “upgrade”. Horseshit. You dont advertise about having an upgrade in national newspapers, since last year, then have old loyal customers wait for an upgrade being already dangled/received by new customers. Kakaramahin din kayo.

    News like this makes me thank the Lord that i didn’t get MyDSL. Despite my love-hate relationship with Bayantel, service is very good and upgrades are just one phone call away :D.

    tanong ko lang, may bayad din pala yung downgrade kahit more than 1 year ka nang subscriber? akala ko kasi 1 yr ka lang locked sa account.

    im with them for 3 years na and they still charge me that insane amount. guess that PLDt sees the lockin period differently from the downgrade fee….whcih basically means theyre trying to get more money even though youve been a loyal subscriber.

    Doon sa Ran Online parating reklamo na disconnection at lag nagmumula sa mga gumagamit ng PLDT/Smart Bro, at wala pa akong naririnig na reklamo mula sa mga users ng Globelines at Bayantel.

    Ngayong may hawak na online game company ang PLDT, ano bang ginagawa ng PLDT sa aming mga Ranatic? Ginigipit ba? Sabotahe? Ayun binabato masyado ng mga iskwater-minded ang sisi sa e-Games dahil sa isyung iyon.

    hello po,

    im thinking of getting an internet connection. i just bought a new laptop same as urs (i read ur article bout ACER ASPIRE 5583WXMI). ano po ba ma suggest mo na ISP? im thinking on Smart Bro and PLDT MyDSL. kaya lang, im reluctant dun sa 1 year contract nila.. ano po ba ma su-suggest mo? any advice will be highly appreciated.

    choose the lesser evil. choose pldt mydsl. DONT GET SMART BRO unless nothing else is available. all dsl providers require 1 yr tie in bro…

    Well, problem naman namin about sa PLDT, may time na bigla na lng mawawala ang connection, and minsan naman super bagal, dami tuloy nag rereklamo na customer, nalulugi na shop namin!!! and isa pa!!! yung 4k a month kami nag subscribe, yung free landline nila, di pala real yun!!! kc sa bill kasama yun, so monthly na binabayaran namin is 6K +

    pldt kuha ng kuha ng customers, wala namang facilities to offer. ang dami kinukuha applicants for lines, tapos wala na palang available cabinets.

    next thing they will do, hahapin ang nearest unwilling victim hahanapan ng butas para maputulan ng linya, gagamitin ang kabinet settings para sa new client tapos tatagain ng reconnecting fees and penalties ang old subsciber.

    sa unang tingin palang, nag-hahanap na sila ng paraan magkaroon ng pera. not to mention sunod sunod ang cost cutting nila. di kaya luga na sila and still trying to maintain an image of strength pero sa loob ay inaamag na sila?

    then ito na ang punch line, in a span of 3-6 months (di pa tapos ang lock down period ng new subscriber) ay uulitin nanaman ang ang racket or modus operandi na ito. from land line to dsl and smart bro connection pareho ang system ng panloloko.

    and incase ang new subscriber di makitahan ng butas, sisiguraduhin mahina ang service para madismaya at umalis or end and service before lock down period, oo nga naman. KIKITA SILA SA PENALTY CHARGES AND DO THE SAME THING TO THE NEXT UNWILLING VICTIM. eg tagal ng repairman, outdated payments, Parati Lang or waLang Dial Tone, or walang dsl signal.

    then if bayaran na, may kulang papala!!!! ang sa liit ng P500 they will get a law office to charge you!!!!??? wow mas mahal ang ang professional fee manalo or matalo. patulan mo, gagastos ka rin. GEEEEEEZZZZZZZ.

    ginawa nila ito sa isang kalye sa tondo and nilagay na non payers and blacklisted buong block!!!!! thats odd!!!!!! pero mga nakatira doon mayaman at middle class. naku PLDT MAGSARA KA NA

    WALANG PERPEKTONG COMMUNICATION SERVICE KAHIT CELLPHONE. PERO PLDT DI KA MIGHTY AND MAKAPANGYARIHAN. BULOK KA NA THAT IS WHY KUMIKITA ANG IBANG PROVIDERS.

    gago nga pldt d2 mandaluyong eh,4tw bnbyaran ko mo sa basurang dsl nila hindi man lng ako mktpos ng 1 buong laro ng SF laging npptol.i2 mskt nung tnanong ko kng pwdeng paputol na sbi byad ako 3 mos tpos 22tw pra sa free na pc na bulok nman specs amd athlon x2 64. akala ko nga mktao c pangilinan nagoyo pala rin ako.. payo ko sa lhat wag n mag pldt
