Nintendo just announced via a livestream that Fire Emblem is coming to IOS and Android! The game is called Fire Emblem Heroes and will feature characters from across the series. While a part of me is happy that Nintendo has brought one of their more hardcore gamer titles to mobile, I am also sad that the game will follow the typical mobile collectible rpg style where you buy orbs or packs with randomized characters then you grind it out to upgrade them to make them more powerful. Some are already complaining of the sprite style as they seem a bit too simplistic and geared toward younger audiences, but based on what else i saw is that the character art is fantastic, with new artwork for the various characters from past Fire Emblem such as Chrom from Fire Emblem Awakening
