Social Media Day Philippines is being held today at the Tower One Fountain Area, Ayala Triangle, on Ayala Avenue, Makati City from 4pm to 7pm. I think i’ll drop by to see how much the social media (and digital) landscape has changed and made itself felt in other fields since a handful of bloggers met at a small coffee shop in Makati oh so many years ago. I’ll also be taking pictures of the event and testing my new 50mm lens. =)
Social Media Day Philippines is an event organized by Tweetup Manila and carries the theme “Social Media Capital” referring to the fact that the Philippines is THE Social Media Capital of the World. Other cities such as Quezon City, Iligan City, Cagayan de Oro City and Davao City are also celebrating the event with the global version supported by industry tech website, Mashable.
