Audioswap – via Youtube’s TestTube

Posted by on March 15, 2007 in Blog, Tech & Gadgets - No comments

I just tested Audioswap, one of Youtube’s beta apps. Audioswap allows you to replace that crappy audio that comes with your videos with licensed audio tracks. Choose from a wide range of audio genres and pick a better soundtrack.
Check out one of my edited videos using audioswap:

Looking for a cool soundtrack for your video? We’ve made arrangements with artists and record labels so that you can add their songs to your YouTube videos. You get a cool soundtrack, the artists get attribution on your video, and everyone wins! We’ll be adding more artists and songs as the feature develops, so check back for your favorite bands and singers.

Welcome to TestTube, our ideas “incubator.” This is where YouTube engineers and developers test out recipes and concoctions that aren’t quite fully baked and invite you to tell us how they’re coming along. Your comments will help us improve and perfect the mixtures we’re working on. So jump in, play around, and send your feedback directly to the brains behind the scenes.
