I have been a user of Valve’s Steam engine ever since Half Life 2 came out (Was that really in 2004?) and i still forget how to change my password in Steam. I usually login into the steam website and get confused as you cant change your password via the website but then i always remembered how to do it, here’s how:
How to change your password in Steam (Windows)
Launch the Steam application and log in to your Steam account. Right click on the Steam icon (in the task bar or system tray), select Settings and choose “Change Password Or Secret Question”, then “I want to change my password”.
Enter your existing password for Steam to send you an email with a confirmation code. Enter that confirmation code and then your new password, twice. and voila, Congratulations on having a new password for Steam.
Very helpful if you want to make sure your account is secure with Steam being the target of recent hacking activities.
