Dark Souls, the “sequel” to the mind numbingly difficult Demon’s Souls, was unveiled at Ignite 2011. Dark Souls will be published and produced under the newly formed partnership between developer FromSoftware Inc and publisher Namco Bandai. Dark Souls producer Daisuke Uchiyama also unveiled the first Dark Souls trailer and it looks like players should expect their character to die a lot in-game. And i mean a LOT as FromSoftware has upped the number of ways to kill the player in this fantasy RPG.

Dark Souls will ship worldwide Holiday 2011 for both the PS3 and Xbox 360. If you havent played Demon Souls yet, i suggest you get a copy from your local datablitz shop in preparation for Dark Souls.
