Borderlands Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot DLC
Borderlands DLC Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot is the second downloadable content for Borderlands from Developer Gearbox Software. Rather than getting new area to play in like in the first dlc content, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi delivers a new gameplay mode, Riot, which plays like a gameshow version of Gears of War’s Horde Mode where you take on waves and waves of enemies. The “star” of this DLC is Mad Moxxi, a widow several times over who seeks to relieve her boredom with carnage, and by entertaining a cheering crowd as you and your teams take on five different waves of enemies in three new arenas – Hell-burbia, the Angelic Ruins, and The Gully. These aren’t simply pits that fill with enemies – they are vast yet contained battlegrounds, ready for you and your wave of enemies.
Sounds good right? The problem with this DLC is that it doesnt add new maps or give you any experience. That’s right, no increase in the level cap either. Just good old arena fun with a couple of new weapons to use in mowing down enemies.
Borderlands Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot DLC will be released for Xbox 360 next week. Hopefully, the PC version gets released not long after…
