League of Legends in September

 
 

Developer Riot Games of DOTA fame has announced that online game League of Legends: Clash of Fates will be available in September for the PC.

“League of Legends will bring gamers competitive battle-arena style gameplay that builds upon and expands on innovative gameplay concepts that were pioneered in DotA-Allstars, one of the most popular mods of all time,” Brandon Beck, co-founder and CEO, Riot Games, said. “With a strong community following itching to jump right into the fray, we’re looking forward to providing gamers with epic combat and dramatic, strategic battles for years to come.”

Added Wim Stocks, senior vice president of strategic partnerships for THQ, League of Legends’ retail campaign partner, “We are excited to work with the high caliber team at Riot Games on such an innovative and genre bending experience as League of Legends.”
