EA has announced that the Sims 3 will be available on store shelves as well as via online digital distribution on June 2 for $49.99.

The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition, which will be available at select retailers for $69.99. The Collector’s Edition will include the full game, a collectable 2GB The Sims Plumbob USB drive, a strategy guide and in-game European-styled sports car for your Sims to use.
