Fallout 3 is the third installment of the fallout series. Fallout 1 was started back in 1997, and was developed by Black Isle Studios. Fallout 2 was released soon afterwards, thanks to positive response. Both Fallout 1 and 2 are based in a post-apocalyptic America, and branched off of a timeline back in the 1950’s during the cold war, though there are differences that lead us to believe the world of Fallout is on a completely different timeline than ours — laser weapons, advanced “Power Suits” and the like.
