EA’s Facebreaker
EA’s Fight Night spinoff has released new screens and i cant help but notice that some of their characters look like the guys from Nintendo’s NES blockbuster “Punch-Out!”. Check out the header above for a comparison shot of Punch Out’s Soda Popinski and one of the characters from Facebreaker.
FaceBreaker is an upcoming boxing video game created by Fight Night developers, EA Canada. It is to be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii and is set to be released in late June 2008. FaceBreaker will have a “cartoony” artistic style (similar to Ready 2 Rumble Boxing) and allow players to literally break their opponents faces as the game will feature ‘real-time facial deformation’.
