Maaaring masabi nating mature na itong si ellen na dati ay pa kikay lang hanggang sa maging daring ang komento ko ay di papuri kay ellen o pamumuna sa kanya. Sabi ng aking kilalang western liberal ang babaeng nag popose sa mga magazine na gaya nito ay nakakapagbigay ng empowerment sa mga babae totoo kaya ito? maaring totoo kasi na ipapakita na ng babae ang kanyang expression sa kanyang sekwalidad ang tanong kaya bang mapalaya ng babae ang kanyang sarili sa pyudal na pagsasamantalang lipunan sa pamamagitan nito maaaring sa isang aspetong sekwalidad ngunit paano ang mas malaking superstructure ng lipunan gaya ng pulika ,ekonomiya,at kultura tunay nga bang napapalaya nito ang kababaihan?? Hindi kaya ang ganitong kalakaran sa media at sa magazine ay mas nagpapatindi sa exploitataion sa panig ng mga babae. Ano ba ang puhunan ng babaeng modelo magkano ba ang bayad sa kanya, at magkano ang kinikita ng kapitalistang publisher di kaya napapagsamantalahan lamang ang kondisyong ekonomiko ng maraming babae sa bansa natin upang gawin ito. Kung kagustuhan man nila ang pagpopose sa mga magazine na gaya nito aware ba sila sa kanilang ginagawa kung ano ang pananagutan nila sa lipunang ginagalawan. Pero mas magandang itanong ito sa mga publisher ng Mens magazine aware ba sila sa pananagutang panlipunan. Maaaring sagot nila ay ang kalayaan sa pagpapahayang at art for art sake? Ngunit sa huli ay mas matibang ang kapakanang panlipunan. Sabi nga ni Mao Tse Tung sa kanyang lecture sa sining sa Yenan ang sining ay dapat maglingkod sa kagalingan ng sambayan ang sining ay dapat na nagpapakita at nakakapagmulat ng kalagayang panlipunan at tumutuklas ng daan para baguhin ito. Madaming ellen adarna sa ating lipunan na nangagarap na minsan ay maharap sa camera pindutin mo ang botton sa tv naroon sila, umiindayog sa mga afternoon show sa dyaryo, sa centerfold ng magazine sa mga jokes sa radyo sa mrt sa flyover at kung saan-saan pa. She made her fame by posting (she did it excessively) her pictures at Friendster, MySpace, forums, blogs, and many other sites now she is a sensation. She became an instant celebrity in the internet world…is now the Philippines’ queen of myspace. Adding to her fame is her appearance in the July 2005 and June 2006 covers of Candy Mag. (what a babe)
With all that publicity and follower comes the drawback of being famous…her pictures were distributed by stalkers, impostors (pretend their account are hers) and video maker (this is the dark side of fame). She was band from friendster thought if you search her name Ellen Meriam Go Adarna, the search would produce 20 plus account, all with the same name and her photo. Her blogspot address was abandon. She received many bad comment from other people, like this one:

Wow what a neutralizer?! The benefit and detriment of fame come in one package together. It is in the person’s attitude in handling glory, be it good or bad….One wealth of advice “humble thyself to people you come across along they are the people you’ll meet on your way back. (do this make sense :)
