just so you all know Nina Jose’s body does NOT look like that. Clearly, they had to hire some kind of photo editing expert because she does not have a flat stomach which is apparent in the photo. She is such an embarassment to the Assumption community.

I’m an Assumptionist myself. I totally agree with somone. She is such an embarrassment to the Assumption community. I cannot believe she’s doing this! She was a senior when I was a freshman and I remember being her clubmate O___o Shame.
I get the part of Nina wanting to reach her dreams but what has she learned from Assumption? I admired her when I first saw her because of her poise and dignified characteristic. But now, I don’t think she was able to learn the Assumptionist value of siplicity.

because as far as i also come from a catholic school, we were taught to mind our own business and not to act like we are UNEDUCATED. if you don’t like her, so be it. if you are ashamed of her being an assumptionista, you should be, too, right? and you should keep it to yourselves nalang. kasi, kung talagang shame siya on your part, d nyo naman siguro ipangangalandakan na assumptionista kayo, diba?

Sorry, but how Nina lost herself through FHM IS my business. First, since she’s an Assumptionist just like myself and what she’s doing is a total aberration from what our education upholds. If I just “minded my own business,†it would be as bad as being apathetic about things like poverty or corruption. I quote the tshirt, frustration over indifference. Second, because she’s an Assumptionist bringing a grave amount of shame to our school, I have an obligation to protect my school from further embarrassment (isn’t Mrs. President enough?). And third, I hope that if and when Nina sees this, she will be able to see the error of her ways and return to a more decent way of life.
At hindi ko ikinakahiya na Assumptionista ako. Ang kinakahiya ko ay ang pinagagagawa niya (Nina).

i know nina personally and she is a really nice girl and she’s really beautiful too. i don’t think there’s anything wrong with what she has done, so what if she posed for FHM? it doesn’t mean that she’s a slut. it just means that people find her pretty and sexy. it’s funny because i’m from assumption too, and i’m very proud of her.
To the Assumptionist:
that’s your opinion. but for me, there’s nothing wrong about being on a cover of a men’s magazine. it’s just a magazine, just like any other magazines for sale. and it’s not like she’s flaunting what we shouldn’t see. you’re just too naive, and you know that.

We were taught SIMPLICITY IS BEAUTY. Clearly, she is the opposite of such.
ASSUMPTIONISTAS WERE TAUGHT SO MUCH BETTER. I can honestly say that.
She’s only 20 years old.
Both of the women in the cover had their bodies PHOTOSHOPPED.
First, si HAZEL ANNE. She’s a really really beautiful girl but her body is really not like that. Have u seen her body in the HAIR Commercial or something? Hindi naman talaga ganun body nyan. May pagka mataba tlga yan si HAZEL ANNE but she is really very pretty.
lastly, si NINA. Hindi po gnyan katawan niyan. Nakita ko na tiyan niya sa PBB Teen Edition. Mataba din niyan. pero crush ko siya kasi ang ganda ganda niya.
“actresses” who have no shows for the moment and have not been so popular pose on men’s magazine simply because they have no choice but to such thing to achieve the popularity that they want.
Hazel Ann is an actress…or is on the verge of becoming one. Personally, I am not against the girls (who are still young, BUT now are beyond the age of innocence and consent) posing for sexy magazines like FHM.
Kanya-kanyang diskarte lahat yan eh. FHM targeted the hot girls in their mid-twenties to early-thrities before… Dina Bonnvie, Ara Mina, Patricia Javier.. all darlings of the media industry before. Now, since ABS-CBN and GMA are churning young talents after another, hindi talaga pwedeng mapigilan ang mga talents (lalo na yung mga walang acting projects) to go for the photoshoot.
1.) It means money for them, print entertainment for the male (and maybe female) target market. Also, the manager is happy. Everyone is happy on their side.
2.) It is good business. Magazines sell. Everyone involved in that shoot all earned their wages fairly. So what kung may photoshop? Nowadays, its a JOB for others, and a MUST for the models.
3.) Some models really need the editing. Trust me, some portraits go really wrong. And the goal of FHM is to project sexy young women. Post-editing is one of the solutions.
I am totally objective here. I do respect the assumptionista’s argument. And I also hear out the arguments of the admirers. In the end, ito lang dapat mangyare: maentertain ng FHM if you do buy it. That is all there is to it.
