The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor for 2008! World premiere in Beijing, China on July 24, 2008. Unfortunately, it looks like one of my favorite movie franchises is returning in 2008 with some drastic changes.

First it aint set in Egypt.
Second, Evy isnt played by Rachel Weisz.
Third, its set in 1946 so we get to see an older O’Connell and his son.
Fourth, Jet Li is kicking O’Connell’s ass this time around instead of that “Anuksunamun!” (dead) guy.

Actually the high priests name was Imhotep. Anuksunamun was the woman he loved and tried to resurrect.
And ya think owning the Mummy Box set would make me remember Imhotep played by the awesome Arnold Vosloo. =)
Yep, It’s actually actually Imhotep, who in the film, is Pharoah Seti I’s most trusted advisers, but made the mistake of having an affair with Pharaoh’s mistress, Anck-su-namun. He is cursed and slowly killed for his treachery, but we know how that ended up… =)
