Lebron James has finally stepped on the biggest stage in basketball, the NBA Finals, after a fourth quarter Detroit meltdown and big shots from rookie Daniel “Boobie” Gibson in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Gibson scorched the Pistons for a game high 31 points (!) making 4 out of 4 3 pointers and 19 total points in the pivotal 4th quarter.

The Pistons were determined not to let James do a repeat of his classic game 5 performance, in where he scored 48 big points and 29 of the Cavaliers last 30 points bridging the 4th quarter and Overtime. James was indeed held in check scoring only 20 points on 3 of 11 shooting but rookie Gibson hit the big shots and propelled Cleveland to its first ever NBA Finals appearance.

Did i mention that Rasheed Wallace got ejected with the Pistons on the verge of losing? or Tayshaun Prince going 1 out of 10? It wasnt a good day for the Detroit Pistons. Sayang. Chauncey Billups was just getting his stroke back, too. Is this the end of the line for the Pistons with Billups and Webber up for free agency this year?
