When will the game be available?
The PC/Xbox360 Standard and Collectors Edition are scheduled to be shipped March 20, 2006.

How long has it been in development?
Since Mid 2002.

What does the name “Oblivion” mean? Tamriel is the world of The Elder Scrolls and Oblivion is the equivalent of Hell in Tamriel.

Where does Oblivion take place? In Cyrodiil, this is the capital province of Tamriel, your journeys will take you to parts of Oblivion itself.

What are the differences between the Standard and Collectors Edition?
The Collectors edition comes with a Pocketbook to the Empire, a Special Behind the Scnes making Of Oblivion DVD and a Replica of the Septim coin used in the game and costs $10 more.

Will Oblivion fit into one DVD disc?
Yes, even featuring 25 hours of recorded voice, Oblivion will fit in just one DVD disc.

How long will it take me to finish Oblivion?
The main quest would be 20-25 hours, if you try to explore every nook and cranny then it will be closer to 150-200 hours.

Is the game playable on the Xbox 360 without a hard drive? Can you play it if you have a Core system?
Yes. The hard drive is going to be an option and not a requirement.

What are the differences between the PC and 360 versions?
Both versions would be essentially the same due to having the same art assets, same dialogs and quests although obviously the control scheme would be different. In terms of visual differences, the 360 version and a souped up shader model 3.0 compliant PC would be minor.

Will there be additional content?
The PC version will have the TES Construction set available for download while the 360 version will have content available from Xbox Live ranging from updates, additional content, themes and gamer pictures.

Will Oblivion include multiplayer?
No, Oblivion is a single-player game only.

What perspective do I play the game in, first or third-person?
With a press of a button/key, both first-person and third person views will be available throughout the game although the game was meant to be played from the first person perspective.

What are the PC system requirements?
Recommended:
